I was never on any particular diets or programs before I started training with Terry, that is unless bad eating habits count. I did try supplements such as Hydroxvcut in hopes that the "magic pill" would melt away my body fat (yeah right), but instead only gave me the jitters and a racing heart rate. Growing up I would skip meals and eat small meals if I thought that I was plumping up too much. It wasn't until I was diagnosed with IBD that I started to take my health and habits more seriously. A major challenge I have faced in my past regarding weight management and fitness was my family's history of bad eating habits and disorders. The women in my family have always been obsessed with the number on the scale, sometimes to the point of becoming anorexic or bulimic. I was always surrounded with comments on my weight whether they thought I looked thin or not. I was never encouraged to play sports or to exercise to stay fit, so it was very challenging to learn to stay thin in a healthy manner. Therefore, I learned early on how to eat little or not at all. My fitness level has improved dramatically since I have been training with Terry. Not only have I seen a difference in my physical appearance, my techniques have improved and my endurance has increased. I have also improved my knowledge of weight management and fitness. My confidence and self esteem has grown. I feel healthier. My dreams have gotten bigger and my goals have grown. I have become addicted to my healthy life style and exercise. Terry has pushed me into a whole different level that I thought that I could never achieve. He has shown me that when I think I can not go any farther. If I push a little harder I will find that there are no real limits. Terry is very encouraging and shows you how to get the best results by working with your techniques and posture. Terry always takes the time to make sure that his steps with you are perfect to help you achieve success from every angle. Training with Terry, I have learned to set high goals (realistically) and to strive for the best. I believe that I have improved my work performance and have moved forward in my career because of what I have learned from him. I plan everything out; whether it be for fun or it be my work day. Terry does a wonderful job at encouraging me and motivating me. Most importantly, he loves to see his clients improve and put their best efforts into his training methods.
